About RenzaGroup
A build shop that never stopped running businesses.
RenzaGroup LLC is a Tennessee company that designs and engineers software, and runs the growth work that software alone doesn't fix. We've been doing it since 2012, mostly for owner-operated businesses with more demand than infrastructure.
How it happened
Fourteen years, in order.
Nothing here was a business plan. Each practice area exists because a client hit a wall and the market had nothing that would get them over it.
It started with operations
The first builds were operations platforms — the unglamorous kind. A company running scheduling in one tool, customers in another, documents in a shared drive, and the actual coordination in a group text. The software existed to do each piece; nothing existed to do the whole job the way that business did it.
So we built it. Then the next one. Fourteen years later, operations platforms are still the core of what we do, and the pattern hasn't changed: replace the sprawl with one screen the whole team can work from, and get out of the way.
Then events, because events are operations on hard mode
Event work came from the same place. Organizers were stitching registration, ticketing, vendor coordination, staff scheduling, and day-of check-in out of five products that didn't know about each other — and paying per attendee for the privilege. Event platforms are their own practice area now, and they made us better at operations generally. Nothing exposes a weak system like a hard deadline that won't move.
Coaching came from being in the room
Building software for a business means sitting inside its problems for months. You learn quickly that a fair number of them aren't software problems. Pricing, positioning, who answers the phone, what happens after the job is done — those get fixed in conversation, not in code.
Coaching became a practice area because owners kept asking for the conversation on its own. That work now runs primarily under the Rengie Mendoza brand, with 400+ businesses worked with and 29 years of consulting behind it.
Done-for-you came from watching good plans die
The hardest part of advising owner-operators is that the plan is usually right and still doesn't happen. Nobody has the hour. So we started running the pieces ourselves.
CLIENTI handles review collection — the single highest-leverage thing most local businesses ignore. MapRank handles active Google Business Profile optimization and Maps rank tracking. CLIENTI alone has generated more than 250,000 reviews for clients. Both are products we built because the tools we were renting kept falling short.
And now, other people's platforms
The newest practice area is the one we didn't plan on: founders and teams building SaaS platforms of their own, bringing us in for the product, architecture, pricing, and UX decisions. It turns out that fourteen years of shipping operational software to people who will absolutely tell you when it doesn't work is a useful thing to rent.
How we operate
Five things we won't move on.
01
You own everything
The code, the data, the domains, the ad accounts, the Google profile. On day one and on the day you leave. We don't hold anything hostage to keep a retainer alive.
02
The constraint first
We won't sell you a build when the problem is pricing, or an ad budget when the problem is that nobody calls back. Diagnosis comes before scope, always.
03
Working software, early
You get something you can click in weeks, not at the end of a six-month discovery phase. Opinions formed against a real screen are worth ten times the ones formed against a deck.
04
One person, not a queue
You'll know who you're talking to and they'll know your business. Small on purpose — there's no account manager relaying your question to someone who's never seen your operation.
05
We'll tell you no
If off-the-shelf software already does it, we'll name the product and send you on your way. Custom is expensive; it should only exist where it earns its keep.
Sound like the way you'd want to work?

Who this works for.
We're a good fit for established, owner-operated businesses and small teams — the kind with real revenue, real customers, and an operation that's outgrown the tools holding it together.
- Service businesses whose scheduling and job tracking live in too many places
- Event organizers paying per-attendee fees for software that still doesn't fit
- Local operators who know reviews and Google visibility matter and never get to them
- Founders building a SaaS product who want a second set of scarred hands on it
Who runs it
Rengie Mendoza
RenzaGroup's founder. Twenty-nine years solving business problems, 400+ businesses worked with, and named 2025 Man of the Year by the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce for what this work has done for local owners.
The coaching and growth-strategy side of the company runs under his own name — the Growth Path framework, the free assessment, the writing, and the newsletter all live there.
